Welcome back to West Chester Ohio. I’ve been here a few times in the last few months. On this trip, I’ll be staying the Homewood Suites here in West Chester. I’m not sure why, but the hotel pricing here is odd. The previous hotels I’ve stayed at here in West Chester were really expensive, yet this Homewood Suites was in the $120/night range. I’m not that picky so I booked it and moved on.
I like Homewood Suites hotels, they give large rooms and for longer stays it’s really nice to spread out and enjoy the space. When I’m working I tend to get take out a few times, so the extra room to eat and relax makes being out of town a lot more pleasant. I was only here for 3 nights but I enjoyed this Homewood Suites very much and would gladly stay here on my next trip to West Chester.

Homewood Suites West Chester Location
The Homewood Suites in West Chester is right off I75 so it’s easy to get to when you arrive into town. In the area there are a lot of chain restaurants but there’s also a few local restaurants.
Homewood Suites West Chester Lobby and Check-in
I walked into the West Chester Homewood suites and I was very pleased. The hotel felt brand new and new hotels are almost always better. To the left is the front desk, in the back is the breakfast area, and to the right is the elevator bank.
The lobby had a small shop that had snacks, frozen meals, beer, and wine.
Homewood Suites West Chester King Room Review
I walked into my king room at the Homewood and I was again really glad with my decision to stay here. The room was huge and very well setup for a slightly longer stay, I don’t need it, but it’s nice to have.
There’s a sitting area with a sofa, ottoman, and coffee table. I also liked that there was an outlet in the lamp, it allowed me to plug in my computer while doing some work from the couch.
I found the king bed very comfortable. There’s again plenty of outlets on both sides of the bed.
There’s also a table that doubles as a desk. I got a burrito from Mi Burrito on the way here, they make a great burrito and I need to get some work done so it’s a eat from hotel kinda night.
The bathroom is next to the bed area. One thing to note is the sink is separate from the shower, but is just next to the bed. So if someone gets up in the night and washes their hands it will light up the bedroom. Not a big deal if you’re alone, but with a partner it can be a little annoying.
Homewood Suites West Chester Kitchen
A huge benefit of Homewood Suites is the kitchens. Even though I’m only here for 3 nights it’s really nice to have a full fridge, plates, and a sink. There’s of course the microwave, but also a dish washer and cook top.
While not huge, the fridge is bigger than pretty much every other mainstream hotel.
The kitchen at the Homewood was well equipped. There are coffee cups and glasses.
A full set of plate-ware are included.
There’s also silverware along with a few kitchen tools like a can opener, measuring cups, and a few knifes. Below there are some pots and pans. You could definitely make a meal here with the provided kitchen.
Homewood Suites West Chester Bathroom
The bathroom at the Homewood was very clean. I liked the stall shower instead of having a tub. There is also a very large closet that I used to hang up my shirts.
Homewood Suites West Chester Breakfast
Like all Homewood Suites, breakfast is included here at West Chester. There were some hot options along with a cold selection.
This is also where they have an evening reception a few nights per week. I wasn’t here for that but you can just see the beer taps hiding in the background.
Homewood Suites West Chester Room View
The view from the room isn’t remarkable. It’s just the freeway and a top golf. It also looks like someone is building another hotel right across the parking lot from the Homewood West Chester.
Homewood Suites West Chester Pool and Gym
Like any good suburban hotel, there’s a small indoor pool. I didn’t partake but it looked nice enough for a little relaxing if needed.
Just around the corner from the pool was the fitness center along with laundry. I didn’t use either of those facilities but the seemed nice enough.
Homewood Suites West Chester Final Thoughts
The West Chester Homewood Suites was a great hotel. It’s just what I needed for this trip and I would gladly stay here again. The rooms were large, the hotel was quiet, and everything was very clean. I loved having the space to relax and spread out while working. I even liked the bed and found them very comfortable. The TVs even had the surprisingly rare combination of a guide and sleep function.
The breakfast wasn’t anything amazing, but that’s ok. I’m mostly a piece of fruit or yogurt person anyway. Of course this is a kinda boring hotel, it’s right next to a freeway and is surrounded by chain restaurants, however if you need to visit West Chester Ohio, I can fully recommend the Homewood suites.
